Summary: This story is about a sheep that cannot sleep. He walks around and sees many different objects until he finally feels tired and goes to sleep.

 

Rating: ***** This book is Perfect for Preschool and Kindergarteners. The illustrations are bright and interesting.

 

Classroom Ideas: Teachers can use this book for counting and sequencing. As an extention activity The class can create there own version of the book or extend the story with higher numbers.. In the beginning of the year the teacher can use the story along with naptime. Sometimes children can’t sleep during naptime. The teacher can use the book to show children sometimes you can do other quiet activities while you wait to feel sleepy.
